The prompt for M-1 was to conceptualize a brand whose packaging could be repurposed after it’s initail function had been fulfilled.
Over the course of 4 weeks, I created M-1 Brewing Co. The branding was inspired by classic cars, as the namesake originates from Woodward Avenue- the first paved highway in the US and location of the Woodward Dream Cruise every August. Once the case is emptied, users can cut down the sides, transforming the packaging into a board game featured inside. Each bottle cap features a unique design, allowing them to be used as game pieces for up to six players.

If you have ever been to a midwestern house party or family get-together, you’ll notice there is always a common factor - beer! Thus, I chose to reimagine the standard 6-pack carrier, allowing consumers to create positive experiences and connections.
